A French woman is coming to Hong Kong to sell a new method for disposing of dead bodies - alkaline hydrolysis, a disposal process more environment-friendly than cremation. In this city of serene sea, suppressing sky, and saddening air, the French woman has her contract signed in one of the skyscrapers. Yet appalling mystery only unfolds as the monologue narrative brings us back to a small village in Guangdong province, where countless men and women gone missing out of thin air. And one of them, roaming in the New Territories, is determined to haunt this foreign lady.
